Single Family Home Values, 1996 – 2016

This research examines the changes in median single-family home values from 1996 – 2016. Data was pulled from Zillow’s Home Value Index (ZHVI), and adjusted for inflation using Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers: All items less shelter before importing into ArcGIS Online. The table shows the ten neighborhoods with the biggest increase in home values between 1996 and 2016 – 9 out of 10 neighborhoods are located in N and NE Portland, many located in close proximity to each other.
